spicy crab salad

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz cooked lump crab meat

  • 1 tsp lime zest

  • 1 tbsp lime juice

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder

  • Pinch of cilantro (can be excluded if you don’t like the taste)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Dash of red pepper flakes

Instructions:

  • Add crab to a large bowl and set aside.

  • Combine remaining ingredients in a separate dish and mix.

  • Pour mixture/sauce over lump crab, reserving a bit on the side.

  • Fold crab until sauce is well incorporated.

Tips:

  • Use remaining sauce to dress your favorite roll for a zesty alternative to the traditional lobster roll.

  • Serve over a bed of fresh greens using sauce as a dressing. Top with diced avocado.

  • Layer with avocado and serve as a dip with your favorite tortilla chips. Sprinkle with lime and garnish with cilantro for a nice presentation.
