bourbon bbq turkey kielbasa

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 12-13 oz turkey kielbasa sliced into ½ in slices

  • ¼ c Stewart’s Maple Syrup

  • 2 tbsp bourbon whiskey (I used Woodford)

  • 3 ½ tbsp coconut sugar (or brown sugar)

  • 2 tbsp ketchup

  • ½ tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • ½ tbsp Dijon mustard

  • ¼ tsp sea salt

  •  1/8 tsp ground pepper

  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder

Instructions:

  • Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add kielbasa and brown for 5-10 minutes (stirring often).

  • Remove kielbasa and set aside, preserving oil and fat in the pan.

  • Add remaining ingredients to pan and whisk until well combined. Bring sauce to a boil over medium heat.

  • Reduce heat, stirring often and simmer for about 10 minutes (until liquid has thickened).

  • Enjoy as an appetizer or serve at your next family gathering!

Tips:

  • You will have extra sauce; save it in the refrigerator and use over burgers or grilled chicken!
