bourbon bbq turkey kielbasa
Ingredients:
1 tbsp olive oil
12-13 oz turkey kielbasa sliced into ½ in slices
¼ c Stewart’s Maple Syrup
2 tbsp bourbon whiskey (I used Woodford)
3 ½ tbsp coconut sugar (or brown sugar)
2 tbsp ketchup
½ tbsp apple cider vinegar
½ tbsp Dijon mustard
¼ tsp sea salt
1/8 tsp ground pepper
1/8 tsp garlic powder
Instructions:
Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add kielbasa and brown for 5-10 minutes (stirring often).
Remove kielbasa and set aside, preserving oil and fat in the pan.
Add remaining ingredients to pan and whisk until well combined. Bring sauce to a boil over medium heat.
Reduce heat, stirring often and simmer for about 10 minutes (until liquid has thickened).
Enjoy as an appetizer or serve at your next family gathering!
Tips:
You will have extra sauce; save it in the refrigerator and use over burgers or grilled chicken!
