grilled maple bourbon glazed wings
Ingredients:
3 lbs cut chicken wings
Rub:
1/4 coconut or brown sugar
3/4 tsp paprika
1/2 tbsp kosher salt
3/4 tbsp ground pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Glaze:
1/2 c bourbon
1/2 c Stewart’s Maple Syrup
1/4 c apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tbsp kosher salt
Instructions:
Pat wings dry with a paper towel.
Combine rub ingredients and toss wings until well coated.
Allow wings to rest for 20 minutes (or while grill preheats).
Combine glaze ingredients in a medium sauce pan and whisk.
Bring glaze to a boil over medium heat. Reduce and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Set aside.
Preheat grill to 350 degrees.
Once preheated, grill wings for 20 minutes, turning frequently. Hint: unlike other grilling, keep wings close together/touching to retain moisture.
Toss wings in glaze and enjoy!
