the iced maple americano

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  • Add maple syrup to warm espresso and stir.

  • Pour espresso over ice and add a splash of water (I usually fill glass until half full).

  • Use hand blender or milk frother to create cold foam (blend until a stiff layer of foam forms).

  • Using a spoon and preserving the foam layer, pour milk over iced espresso.

  • Spoon foam on top, sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy!

Tips:

  • Replace espresso and water with cold brew or remove ice and serve warm.

  • Pair with your favorite waffle, pancake or breakfast sandwich.

  • Substitute maple syrup for 1 maple candy or honey.
