the mango mojito

Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp mango puree

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • 6-8 mint leaves

  • 3 oz Cruzan Mango Rum (or clear rum of your preference)

  • 1/2-1 tbsp agave nectar

  • 4 -8 oz club soda

  • Ice cubes

    optional:

  • Extra mint and lime for garnish

Instructions:

  • For mango puree, add 1 c mango chunks to blender and puree (mango can be fresh or frozen).

  • In shaker, muddle mango, mint, lime juice and agave nectar (until the mint becomes fragrant). Add rum and muddle some more.

  • Pour rum mixture into glasses and fill to the brim with ice.

  • Top with club soda and extra mint and enjoy!

Tips:

  • Substitute pineapple for mango.

  • Try other light rum flavors for a twist (coconut, pineapple, etc).

  • To roll (or mix), once topped with soda, simply pour the contents of one glass into the shaker (or another empty glass), and then pour it all back into the first glass. This will mix your drink without diluting or reducing the carbonation (which can happen with stirring).
